Child Safety Standards
Last updated: August 5, 2026
Sakina by Markaz Al Fawzaan is a matrimonial platform for adults seeking marriage in accordance with Islamic principles. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, and we do not permit minors to use our platform.
Age requirements and verification
- Sakina is strictly limited to users aged 18 and over.
- Every profile — for both brothers and sisters — is manually reviewed and approved by our administration team before it becomes visible on the platform. No profile goes live automatically without this review.
- Users found to be, or suspected of being, under 18 are immediately removed and permanently barred from the platform.
No photo, no public exposure model
Sakina does not permit photo uploads of any kind. Combined with our anonymous-browsing structure, this significantly reduces the risk surface for exploitative imagery compared to conventional social or dating platforms.
Prohibited content and conduct
- Any content depicting, describing, or soliciting the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
- Grooming behavior, attempts to contact minors, or any content sexualizing minors will result in an immediate and permanent ban.
Reporting a concern
- Users can report any concern, including suspected child safety violations, directly within the app via the "Report a Concern" feature available on every profile and in account settings, or by contacting us directly at privacy@sakinabymarkazalfawzaan.com. Reports are reviewed by our administration team without delay.
- Where required, we cooperate with and report to relevant regional and national authorities regarding CSAE concerns.
